Our Story
Paz Organization is an independently owned and operated business selling AIL Insurance policies. AIL (American Income Life) was founded in 1951 by Bernard Rapoport with only $25,000 of borrowed capital and grew to become a multimillion dollar firm. In 1994 AIL was acquired by Globe Life Inc (Torchmark Corporation back then) for just over $560 Million Dollars at this Bernard retired as Founder of AIL and dedicated the rest of his life to philanthropy through his foundation.

Byron Paz founded Paz Organization (formerly BP Agencies) as a startup agency in December 2013, starting with a modest 8 x 10 office furnished with only two folding chairs and a desk. Today, Paz Organization is committed to becoming the largest agency representing AIL (American Income Life) in Canada, with a vision for growth and success in the life insurance industry.
In 2014, The Paz Agency was recognized as the top rookie agency of the year, earning international acclaim for its achievements. With a remarkable growth trajectory, the agency expanded from zero to 30 associates within just 36 months, culminating in a spectacular 2017 where it became the second-highest agency in performance factor growth across all of AIL worldwide. The CEO’s remarkable performance led to his appointment to the AIL Executive Council in 2018.
In January of 2018, Byron joined forces with Josh Chalom to create the Chalom Paz Agencies, a highly prosperous venture that enjoyed a successful run for 20 months. However, in September of 2019, the partnership was dissolved, and Byron took over as the sole proprietor of BP Agencies. It has since undergone a name change from BP Agencies to Paz Organization. This strategic move was aimed at strengthening its alignment with our parent company Globe Life and enhancing the brand recognition and overall market presence.
Looking ahead, 2023 is set to be another year of growth and success for Paz Organization and its exceptional team.
